Sunday evening was quite special. The church we attend, Baptisticka Crkva Dubravi (BCD), has about 70 people attending on Sunday mornings. (This includes missionaries, children, visitors, and regular attenders.) BCD is the daughter church of the main Baptist church in the center of town. Sunday evening, there was a combined Baptism service at the mother church. Seven people were baptized. Four were from BCD! Two teenage sisters, who have been raised by Christian parents decided that it was time for them to be Baptised. They were so excited about being baptized! The other two from BCD have only recently opened their hearts to Christ. Their enthusiasm is overflowing! Please pray that their enthusiasm spreads.

After the baptism we ate McDonald's in the town center. After supper, we headed for the tram to return to our section of town. We were met by a pleasant surprise; a wonderful concert was playing in Trg Bana Josipa Jelecica (the main square). We stopped and listened. At one point, a couple decided to join the entertainment and danced for the crowd! They got wonderful applause. This was a special treat for Ariel, Connor, Ian, and Lily because earlier in the day we watched a movie about ballroom dancing. A really funny thing, though, was that an older curly haired man who was dressed like Marlin Perkins was trying to get Brenda to dance!
